As an organization, Zavos Hearing Aids and Audiology endeavors to support the needs of our patients and help regain the confidence and self-esteem to be independent in a hearing world. Professional Philosophy Hearing is essential to enjoying everyday life. Because hearing loss is so gradual, many people do not realize the damaging effects that occur when heairng changes. With the aging of the baby boomer generation, hearing loss has become an even greater healthcare concern. Close to 30 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. Some experience hearing loss to their loud environment, others due to genetics, and many due to the process of aging. The National Council on Aging survey found that untreated hearing loss has "serious emotional and social consequences".
Zavos Hearing Aids and Audiology was founded on October 30, 2009. Douglas has been serving the Sun City, Sun City West and Surprise communities for the last 8 years.
